Few people know how much the PBY's played in WWII and makes me miss my grandfather all to much. Nice work on it.

Sorry, did not get a chance to comment.
This is a stirring picture, there is something here that is just heroic, majestic, powerful, strong.
This is a fantastic piece of art. One of these days I will try to emulate this.
Should be proud sir, I would be.

Reminds me of Miyazaki.
---------------------
Maybe if you tweaked the outlines -getting some distance from the familiar contours-
you could produce some more suspension of disbelief.
Little details, like an open bulbous cockpit, or a fixed landing gear on the Jug
Or the PBY nacelle filled with perspex windows
Nice trajectory on the MG fire btw!
Other than that,very nice !!

That looks a lot like a modern H. Hughes "Spruce Goose," or should I call this the "Iron Albatross" lol.

This image is truly awesome seeing some beautiful classics flying like that. You did a great job giving an almost photorealistic finish to the image and having the planes appear "in your face" makes you feel like you're in the action. Keep it up!
