Love the playful presentation of this food photography! Substituting the 'X's' and 'O's' using coffee and coffee related elements is brilliant. Coffee in the morning is always a win I also like how you introduced movement to give this still life some dynamic interest - dropping a sugar cube into each coffee cup creates interesting splashes that just draws the eye to the diagonal coffee cups. Very well done!

whoever was playing the opposite side doesn't seem to have made any sort of effort to block that line

Looking at the cup in the upper right corner and wondering how hard you threw the sugar in. That's quite a deep splash
Lovely composition and colors. You are so great at coming up with interesting ideas.

It fell from about 1,5 m. It's the power of sugar cubes!))
Thank you! =^__^=

Thank you! =^__^=
Oh, that was quite simple. I arranged the composition, took a picture without splashes. Dropped a sugar cube into each cup β took picture of three splashes. And then I just merge 4 pictures in Photoshop
