One of my favorite stock artists submitted some stock recently and hinted that he would love to see a "Jack the Ripper" type image done with one of his excellent stock images. I was up for it and I liked the idea so much that I have a sequel to this image already in the works.

Jack was no dull boy....Jack was a sick sick man credited with being the first serial killer thanks to being the first murderer made known to the general public via newspapers. His identity is still a mystery .....we still hold on to his mystery and keep looking for answers which is why he is one of the most studied serial killers of all time. He has become in some ways like a character in a story....a romantic figure, but there was nothing romantic in the grisly murders he committed, the prejudice he harbored for his victims or the fear he caused Londoners.

This is image is supposed to depict Jack prior to his very first noted murder on Bucks Row in East London. I know it's not perfect, but I had fun putting it together and working on it....and thanks to Caustic for setting me on the path and I hope he likes what I came up with even though it wasn't exactly what he had pictured.

Nicely done...came together very well. Though, Jack may not have been a male, there's still much speculation on what and whom Jack really was.

I am simply amazed by this piece. The coloring, the little details of the lanterns glow. A wonderfully thought out and executed work.

LOL...well after reading all you wrote I am now running around like an e-jut too!! Wheeeeeeee!

Ok...now I'm back. *pant pant* I have been fretting since I posted it so I am beaming from ear to ear that you do like it. I know it's not exactly what you pictured...but your hint definitely inspired me and I had lots of fun working on these two images. I hated having to kill Elandria in the 2nd one, but like I told her both of your stocks go together like toast and jam.

Well I am tickled pink now....and this image wouldn't be here if it weren't for your excellent stock and of course the other wonderful stocks.....oh yeah...and your hint.

Thanks for the too!!

I have to admit that aas much as I thought it was an amazing alleyway its one of those that lends itself to Ripper devs and not a lot more (ok theres your next chalenge LOL) but you did ths so perfectly .. the lighting .. the colours and everything about it .. this is a perfect interpretation of what I had in mind .. I really can't praise you enuff .....
