This is a collage I did of all 5 of my Anthro girls from Tokyo Mew Mew/Mew Mew Power. From left to right, we have Pudding/ Kikki as a monkey, Letuce/Bridget as a Porpoise, Ichigo/Zoey as a Cat, Mint/Cornia as a Parrot and Zakuro/Renee as a Wolf. Do you mean why are they animal people, or why is the image so distorted? I admit that much of this image has been squashed or stretched, I tried to make conflicting bases sizes match, and the result is pretty mutilated.I really shouldn't have done that.
If you don't like them as animals, well then, that's just your taste and you are entitled to not like it.

Hmm, yes, I know that, I was just being generic with the descriptions back then, hence why it just says parrot, cat and monkey rather then anything more specific.A Parrot is not wrong, it's just not very precise.

Thank you. Well, doing that would kind of defeat the point, they're supposed to be animal-like and primal. Besides, clothing would be uncomfortable on fur/feathers/water proof skin.
