Sometimes I just sketch things to loosen up. Sometimes the sketches look okay enough to clean up, colourize and make into drawings to post.

This time it was Bellsprout. I don't know why it's Bellsprout. I did used to watch the Pokemon anime, and Pokemon Silver is one of the few video games I actually played all the way through, but I never had any particular affinity for Bellsprout. I don't think I even caught one. So I don't think there was any reason for me to draw Bellsprout here... other than it's easy to draw.
