Happy new year, my first art in 2010~!
This is taillow from pokemon, just wanna draw something chinese style. [link] for line art. The old chinese character read 傲骨燕, which is taillow's chinese name. There are suppose to be a little bit more color on the leaves and flowers, but my scanner didn't pick up the color as well ~ sigh

I like this; it's not only adorable, but nicely lined, and the muted colors make it less "omg pokeman fanart" and more... tranquil, I guess? (not sure if that's the best word for it) It's a part of it, not the focus, is the feeling I got.

Well, taillow is not as popular as pikachu or the eeve generation, plus, there are just too many pokemon to choose to draw from~~ LOL, i don't think i'm redrawing any pokemon in any time soon except pikachu LOL
