Description No, not the GALACTIC Empire XD
Needed to print  a reference of the weapons that they usually had in battle, so, copypaste x3 Altough in 1989 the 1000 Days War* still didn`t finished, in the G4 times the weapons used by the Empire are basically same. Easy to use, rarely fails, cheap to produce, available in crushing numbers. Why to change them?

Dilshad was an ELITE soldier of the Albornoz Empire, that explains several about Dora`s likes and skills in the G4 time

In my novels, the Empire is a southern and eastern neighboor of the Rupian Federation. Have literally MILLENIUMS of experience as warriors, They fought each other during almost 400 years but when finally they made an unificated country formed the biggest army of the planet, and probably the most decided one. The Meganins was unnable to stop them during the 1000 days war even using tactical nuclear bombs, and the Rupians used an inmense number of high explosive rockets, tactical missiles, flamethrowers, snipers, and every long range weapon available to mantain them so far as possible during the shorts border combats at the begun of the 1000 days war before unite against the Meganian thread

Rupians and Imperials are very different in their thinking but very usually they are in peace and with good relationships, precisely by having different objectives. The Rupian Federation always tended to expand and to use lot of tech in combat. The Empire is focused in the protection and defense of their borders and country, and despises the long range combat or the extended use of technology for the war. But attack them, or even worse, their villages or cities, and they will follow you until hell to cut your head no matter how much time it takes

What the Rupian Federation likes about Imperial Troops:

- Their Ferocity at combat
- Their impressive hability to built bridges, roads and all that the logistics requires, no matter how difficult the terrain is
- Their "honorable behavior". respecting specially to the enemy valiant soldiers and the medics during the battles
- Their unquestionable loyalty

*Biggest War ever in my universe, involving even Nuclear Tactical Weapons in the first 3 weeks. Megania (Avians basically) vs EVERYBODY AROUND, specially The Kingdom of Falc, The Albornoz Empire and then by that time very small and weak Rupian Federation.
But really, the historic rival of the Albornoz Empire was, is and very probably will be the Kingdom of Falc  , even if since several decades are in peace.
By now. For so old countries, "decades" are like minutes. No even them knows how many battles they have during the last 900 years

Now you can see easily why Dora is how she is XD

Here is Dora and Kurt `s dad too x3

how many deaths? around 90 millons, as few. Estradia was simply erased with nuclear bombs the first two DAYS of the war. altough after that barely nuclear weapons was used

Jeez... I hope any Estradian refugees that were left after the war were allowed to repopulate the land.

Have you "digested" the question about what exactly you meant in this comment yet?

Holy...

(Warning: LO NG. Explore at your own risk to your time. )

Well, I doubt you have really completely projected the course of the war, how each major battle would be fought, and how things would happen at the home front—I haven't—so our estimates may be as much as a half of an order of magnitude (√10 or ~3.16) different from the actual toll (excepting the Alternate Vietnam War, which would be fought largely the same as the real 'Nam but with an earlier US withdrawl).

I have a general idea of the fronts of the World Revolution up to 1923, but after that it's murky*, and I've only planned out a few battles, mostly minor ones that include some new technology like the 1922 bombing of Washington D.C. With the Brother's War, the level of development is even lower. I had (actually, my brother had) planned the fronts and battles of The Cataclysm out, but that was before the universe was greatly expanded and revised, making development essentially reset, especially on the later "cataclysmic" phase of the war.

The Cataclysm and Brother's War were almost intentionally designed to be the most deadly, devastating wars possible. I have no idea how you could get a war to kill 1,750,000,000 people—maybe a total "Fallout-style" nuclear war, but that wouldn't last 17 years, let alone 17 days. In any war, only a certain proportion of the casualties are fatalities, that proportion depending on weapons technology, medical technology, and wartime practices. So maybe 1,750,000,000 casualties would be possible.

Also, keep in mind that it is simply impossible for people (whether human, lodian, or anthro) to kill each other in massive quantities for a long time and accept a status quo afterwards. In any costly war, the aims of both the leadership and the common soldier become steadily more radical. And any war is always fought to end itself. Eventually, due to class interests, the aims of the leadership and the common soldier may sufficiently diverge to cause mutiny.

That happened in the World Revolution and Cataclysm (and in a potential revision of the Brother's War) when the carnage of the Alternate Great War (WWI) and Fashoda War respectively proved ripe for it, and they turned into broad class wars with the soldier's aim being eradicating oppression, period. There is a reason why the World Revolution is alternate history—it almost happened.

*except in Argentina, which would be the last theater** (and no, that has nothing to do with Dingo—it was planned out in October 2017, before I watched him ).

**except for the absolute last event—the Battle of Orcadas Station. In Antarctica.

I got 1.7 billion by calculating most of all things into effect; soldiers and millitary personnel, young recrutes (since many countries were running low on soldiers near the end and had to send all people16-17 to battle), civilian casualties as cities were bombed and battles sprung up. The weapons which included, only a few nuclear war heads (since most were dismantled to produce power for towns or drive the war effort), weaponised viruses, poison gas, concentration camps of those who sided with the enemies as others or sympathisers, ect... So yeah that rounded out to around 1.7 billion of the entire world population, or just under 1/4th of tge population of earth.

As for specific battle planning, i figured is wasn't a good use of my time mostly because thats not the point of my story or world. The War is behind them and they try to move on...rebuild society, refigure the map of empty or losted countries. Overall my world is trying to come together, unfortunately LEGION profited from such a large war, selling weapons of all kinds. They wish to start up another to continue to make money. They have planed long and hard to make strategic attacks to try and trivver such a war. One that will end woth them on top instead of the people.

Indeed, the Anarchist Alternate History and Into the Wild Black Yonder are mostly focused on the implications such sociopoliticoeconomic conditions would have on technological development. But I feel I have to develop battle plans, front lines, political events, etc. to determine the specifics and add yet more lore. For the first, the World Revolution, for the second, the Alternate Vietnam War, Alternate Iran-Iraq War, and Alternate Persian Gulf war.

I will explain in depth why I view 1.7 billion to be excessive later, but I need to wait until my thoughts are more collected and I'm less busy. (I'm going to a Science Olympiad meet tomorrow. Wish me luck. )
