Hmmm, nope, no real story or anything behind this one. Just playing with color and trying to be less uptight? More loose? However you feel like phrasing it, more/less of that about what I make.

bit of a rambling rant below, feel free to skip!

I have a bad habit of making absolute rules in places there really shouldn't be (not just art, but relevancy and all that lol ) and they tend to be pretty stupid... e.g Oh an character has this color palette? Gotta work only in those colors then! If you can't see the characters colors right then it's a bad representation and therefor bad art!!!

WTF kind of rule is that? What's wrong with abstract coloring? Does Irial look bad just because he's not in is usual colors? No, I'd say not (personal tastes aside, I know plenty who don't like the style and that's fine, just not what I'm talking about). Strangest part is I love looking at that kind of art, but as soon as I go to make something it's like a switch is flipped XD Grass = green and only green.
Don't get me wrong, realism is just as beautiful as abstract and other versions of art but I'm just sick of feeling anxious when I break these... "rules."

Part of my problem I think is I jumped into art with both feet. Most people dabbled on and off all their lives. I didn't. First year of doing art and I'd already turned it into a business... doesn't mean I wasn't having fun the whole time(because I am), just means my focus was different
Now that I'm in a good place and don't need that hyper focus as much... I feel stuck and lost at the same time? Makes little sense but there it is!

So yeah, you can expect more sketchy and experimental stuff like this to pop up now and again while I try and figure out what I want to do with my art
