The Guardian Unit 01 can be equipped with several different types of long range weapons and hand to hand based weapons such as Progressive Knife, Countersword and the Sonic Glaive that are capable of cutting through just about anything.

Weakness: Without the umbilical power supply, Guardian unit can only last in battle for 15 minutes

Maximum Speed: Can walk at 80 Km/h

Going to Japan to help with monster Heat was accompanied by Nick’s sister Jennifer Ann Tatopoulus. A helicopter had arrived there and called Heat to board on the orders of the head of the JSDF division stationed here. The helicopter took off again and flew around the HQ, out of sight. The Team is brought to a hanger, where he is shown Guardian Unit. But no one was capable of piloting it, the best pilots have achieved less than 10 percent of synch, until Jen offered her self to do a test for fun and to show something to the scientists.

Jen first tried out with the simulation body and achieved the correct Synch and was able to successfully pilot the simulation Guardian unit and easily defeat four powerful monsters in the simulation. Against her brother’s wishes she accepted to become pilot of the Robot until the destruction of the beetle. In the mean time, Jen trained heavily to carry out an attack using her Guardian Unit.

One morning, Tank-Bug reappeared near Mt. Fuji and proved to be to powerful for the military, for Tank-Bug’s Atomic fire beam continued to eradicate the resistance. All seemed lost, until Guardian Unit is prepared and is then launched up to the surface. Jen stabbed it with her Prog. Knife in the chest, causing it to howl in pain, then Tank-bug grabbed her and throws her high into the air, into on a nearby mountainside and blasted Guardian Unit’s chest plate, and rendered her inoperative. Inside Jen desperately tried to active the Unit to no avail.

Tank-bug and Godzilla fought until they were sent out of the under-ground base with a launch catapult of the Guardian unit. Unit 01 reappears making a somersaulting drop-kick against Tank-bug shattering its face. Godzilla saw that this strange metal creature as an ally. The monstrous bug attacked with atomic fire, and stabbed into the Guardian Unit, scalding its armor. Though the pain Jen carried was excruciating, it was outweighed by her rage. Godzilla somersault drop-kicked the bug, pushing it away.

Feeling the abominable strength of his foe, Jen kicked Tank-Bug’s chest, hoping to find a weakness. The synch ratio of Unit 01 is 130 percent… 140 percent… and keeps going up. In retaliation, Tank-Bug tried to blast her, but she was able to punch it and deflected its beam, but it hit her energy cable and her robot went into internal battery function. Godzilla rampage against the mutant pushing it to the side of a giant crevice in the land. JSDF plans on stopping the monster by dropping the remaining 90 bombs into the area plan to destroy the mutant and recover the base and the ground, even at the risk of killing the pilot and Godzilla, they have exactly 580 seconds to win or they are dead

Jen and Godzilla made rampage attacks one by one until they were able to able to push him to the edge of the crevice. But the beast blast them both. Godzilla found Jen’s lost Countersword and rampage against the bug pushing the knife into the chest of the beast. As Tank Bug was about to deliver a blow on Godzilla’s head Jen pushed the beetle all the way into the crevice and was dragged down

Out of thinking or by instinct Godzilla drops down the Countersword and Jen uses it to slice beetle hand. Jen runs out of power, and the Guardian Unit fell into the crevice, but Godzilla makes a sudden descent into the crevice in and rescues her. He pulls her out and carried her way for the JSDF to drop the bombs on the crevice and apparently destroy Tank-Bug.

Later the Base personal arrived with truck that carried battery for to plug it on Guardian Unit; to their surprise Godzilla is looking after the robot maybe because he knows that a human ally is inside. The Entry Plug was pulled out Jen came out just fine. And when she came out she knew that she had won and stared dancing around and Godzilla stared to even move around imitating her moves apparently learning that humans celebrate like this, leaving every one both shocked and confused

TRIVIA

Guardian Unit 01 is a tribute to Jet Jaguar and the Evangelion Units. His armor resembles that of the F type Equipmnet of the Evas.

This robot along with its pilot and The Tank bug are to appear in the beginning of the Final War saga
