Description
A Strange yet new species of old world monkey with bizarre features that are perfectly adapted for it's lifestyle and not found on any primate in the entire world, The Japanese Chimeric Monkey or Nue (Simiachimica nue) is type of monkey undiscovered by man until now. Not only this is second of the largest monkeys in the world (about the size of a puma or medium-sized dog, the first being the Greek or Lycian Chimeric Monkey which is about the size of a lion) but it is distinctive for it's bright and beautiful fur patterns that seem to fit exactly as they are described and shown in their Japanese illustration, their heads are a bright creamy white (although sometimes they can have brown, grey, dark brown or black) with a pink face ands red patterns as well as pink palms on their hands & feet, brown bodies with orange colored legs each one along with the body are covered in Black tiger-like stripes except for the head. But the tail (which is also extremely strong and Prehensile) is yellow with black going all the way down to the end but what the tail so fascinating is the "Snake head" on the tip of the tail and thanks to the spot at the end with orange colorations giving of the appearance of eyes..... plus the mouth of the false head is made from hair, matted and fused together like rhino horn hence the picture. Both hand & Feet are armed with huge sharp claws that are not just good for climbing tall trees but also good for hunting and catching prey and thanks to their Prehensile tails they have a very unique way of killing their prey, what they do is that they sit on a tall strong branch and hang below their tails to lure in prey by mimicking the movements of a Snake and as the Prey get closer and closer to it's tail.... when the time is right as the monkey watches from the branch it lashes the tail wrapping to around the animal and pulling them up so the monkey can sink their sharp teeth delivering the final blow, killing them slowly.... they even have a defense similar to a skunk's spray except it's the monkey's breath which is converted from rotten foods and poisonous berries (which they are immune to) that they feed andΒ eat and the breath of the animal smells like smoke and Rotten flesh.... these monkeys are social but they tend to be mostly solitary, an unusual species of old world monkey with bizarre features indeed!.Related content
