Description
In Pleistocene Australia, a Procoptodon goliah grazes on a tree.
People just seem to forget how gloriously weird Procoptodon is, and I’m really rather sad about that. Not only was this thing a giant kangaroo, but rather than jumping, it actually walked, like a retro theropod! What exactly that says about its defensive capabilities, that it would give up being able to hop (which is surely faster than walking) is also rather interesting...now that I think about it, this may have been a bit of a crappy way to get across my point, haha.
