??? Is this supposed to be Classic Sonic? Because I remember him being way shorter than this... Is this just a recolor? Because if so, then this is CHILD'S PLAY. This looks terrible.

Whoop de doo this is a like, 1 hour tops, edit from 2009, I'm sorry it doesn't live up to your GODLIKE standards of recolored Megaman and no art posted to the site. I just realized back then that if you edit his shoes, color, spines, and yes height, I'm pretty sure this one's shorter (I could totally be wrong though), that you can make an advance sprite look a lot like classic Sonic.

I had art for a brief period of time about an OC I made about a year ago. It was about an orange hedgehog I named Kazu. He has an orange recolor and light blue pants, and shoes of the color I can't seem to remember. After a while I realized that there was a hedgehog named "Powerless Sonic" and I took a look at mine. To me, it looked like a recolored powerless Sonic base with pants. I have deleted it and won't make plans to remake him.
So yes, I don't have any art, and yes I have favorites regarding Mega Man, but I couldn't have possibly done any better than you have. So in my opinion, my previous art and yours fall in the same category.

They do pretty much. I'm not denying that. I'm just saying you ain't got a place to criticize when Classic Sonic is LITERALLY Sonic but shorter, with different eyes, shoes, and (now) a slightly lighter palette, which I did here. I'm saying you ain't above recolors so why are you criticizing a character that's literally a canon "recolor" with your ADULT Sonic recolor opinions. "Child's play" my ass, foh.
I ain't defending it cuz it's some masterpiece, cuz it ain't, you're just wrong is all. It would be "terrible" if all it was was literally just a recolor with no edits. Mediocre it might be, but terrible is an exaggeration.

I'm not saying I could do better with my own Classic Sonic (I have not said that in my previous replies. I do NOT plan on saying that now. I'm just "Saiyan".) but I do see the slight difference between Modern and Classic. Classic Sonic is shorter than Modern Sonic and doesn't have a Homing Attack like Modern does... But I think this might be a match for my previous art.
Thing is, when I made it, I barely knew how to make OCs at all. So, again, for saying that it's child's play, that's my B! I would have said that for my previous art. Both this and my art, however, might have paled in comparison to KaijinTheHedgehog's work of Classic Sonic. He knows full well how Classic Sonic looks like. He redrew from other characters in both Sonic Advance and Sonic Battle, games that (at the time when he made this) were not very famous on DeviantArt.

You might want to ignore the grammar however - he isn't that good at speaking English.
I would have to say the same for the pixel art for him - he's not that good at it either.
And lastly, the super form is NOT included in the links (or images) shown here despite the super form being slightly included in the Sonic Advance sheet.

Ahhh I think I've seen those before. They're pretty ugly imo. They have stiff posing, and Classic doesn't look that much like classic. He looks more like Sonic's son. He still has green eyes, his head size is sometimes not modified to match his tiny limbs, he has gorilla length arms compared to his legs, and his spikes change length pretty wildly. I don't think these are any better than mine other than the fact that he has a larger number of poses.

In my eyes, they look good. Sure, the eyes are the wrong color and he has stiff posing... I think these replies are just referring to the Ginyu-Gotenks fight in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
If I were to use these in a fighting game, I would correct the eye error, but I don't think I can fix the other problems you say these sheets have.
Also, the pixel art. I know I said to ignore it, but I don't think I can fix that either. Other than the eyes there's not much I can do to modify it to look like Classic Sonic.
