I too would liked to have seen more of Sunset and Flash together, including how they first met before the events of the first EQG movie. I like to think he helped her adapt to life in the human world when she first arrived.

I have been thinking of writing a couple of comic commissions showing them rebuilding their friendship together, as well as how they first met. Also, Sunset never romantically liked Flash, she only used him to become more popular at Canterlot High. We did see them together in Legend of Everfree and the EQG shorts later, but they still weren't showing any signs of romance between each other. However, there could also be potential for a further exploration of them together in the IDW comics too.
