So I brought up that this The Lore of My New Series(Note: This is a reimagining of a series by a former "friend" of mine. Names of characters or groups may be changed if needed. Also, this series has connections to Skylanders and many other series. I do not own them, so credit goes to them.)Long, long ago, before the first species, before the first element, before even the first Ancient, before EVEN the first universe…there was nothing. Nothing but a void. However, from this void came a large golden egg. When the egg hatched, what emerged was the Grand Creator now known as Sosadakami, who used its power to create the multiverse as we know it. While some aren’t sure how this was done, it’s often believed that mind magic (magic that draws its power from imagination) was used in some way.However, the universes created were mostly lifeless and had no concepts, so Sosadakami split itself into multiple forms taking on aspects…these aspects would be known as the 14 Elemental Ancients, who each had a domain over what was known as an “Element”. The elements included Fire, Water, Electric, Life, Earth, Air, Ice, Magic, Tech, Undead, Stone, Metal, Light, and Dark. The Ancient Elementals used this power along with their innate power of mind magic to create the heart of all universes, what all universes would connect to one way or another…The Universe…would be known as Skylands. A world of near-infinite floating islands and magic.The Elemental Ancients oversaw life in this world, helping out the creatures of the world and giving them understanding of the world…and even helped some creatures by giving them a little bit of their power. These creatures would be known as the Ancestral Species, which we know included the Salamanders, Gnomes, Sylphs, Undines, Fairies, Beastfolk, Arkeyans, and especially Dragons. There is evidence of there being at least one species Ancestral Species per element, but archivists are unsure what they could be for now. Some archivists call this time the Age of Ancients, as the Ancients were most involved here in this time.However, not all was good in the world, as the first forms of evil emerged within the Age of Ancients. One such evil were the Chaos-Borne, mysterious monsters that seemingly represented destruction and entropy within the world that terrorized the Elemental Ancients’ creations. The known Chaos-Borne include the Chaos-Borne Titan, Chaos-Borne Dragon, and the Chaos-Borne Leviathan. This led to the formation of the Royal Masters, 9 powerful masters of unknown elements that became Skylands’ first protectors. The Royal Masters defeated the Chaos-Borne and sealed them away with their powers in a mystic prison made from strange crystals on the Chaos-Borne. To this day, nobody knows who the Royal Masters actually are, or even if they are part of the Ancestral Species. But what is known is that the place the Chaos-Borne were sealed away in became Cloudcracker Prison, and the crystals are now acknowledged as Traptanium, a magical crystal that can harness elements and trap those with darkness in their hearts.While some say the Age of Ancients ended when the Ancients tried to brainwash the species of Skylands, resulting in the dragons rising up against them, the real story is different. The title of “Elemental Ancients” is a more recent term, as there has been new information discovered by archivists about their existence within ruins. It’s believed that the Elemental Ancients left Skylands one day to create more of their world, which some say includes the Realms of Skylands (Muspell, Great Sea, Limbo, Faewild, Celeste Mountains, Great Sky, Nifil, Astral Plane, Mechanus, Underworld, Time’s Desert, Oreleka, Lumen Eden, and the Abyss). They never returned to Skylands, resulting in this being the true end to the Age of Ancients. In their place were a new set of large, brain-like beings with one eye known as the Overseers, who “were wise beyond imagination, but lazy beyond measure”. However, they were not always like this, as they were as benevolent as their forefathers and had a desire for knowledge. The Overseers did many different things, but the most notable thing they did was explore their domain of Skylands using vehicles created from mind magic and powered by Rift Engines, artifacts that had the ability to open rifts and portals to places in Skylands, however the Overseers didn’t realize just how powerful they truly were, as some Rift Engines actually allowed opened portals to the other realms (Flame Spirits, Terrasaurs (Dino-Rang’s Species), Sapient Slimes, Modron, Angels, and Demons to name a few) however, the Overseers were actually thrilled about this, as they didn’t know about the realms…however that changed upon the creation of the Dark Rift Engine, which when used accidentally released an ancient evil known only as the Darkness from the Abyss, who then proceeded to wreak havoc and unleash dark forces across Skylands. The Royal Masters, alongside a few masters of the Rift Engines’ power (Which we now call Portal Masters) protected Skylands by holding the Darkness back from whatever it desired to do to Skylands. Eventually, the Overseers created the Core of Light, which repelled The Darkness to the darkest corners of Skylands. It is often believed that after this event was when the Overseers began to get their reputation, often taking long naps that were “part of the creative process” and became less involved with overlooking the world they were supposed to oversee. However, what they did do was rename themselves from the Overseers to the Ancients and make sure any detail of the Elemental Ancients was gone (this was almost successful until said discovery of the Elemental Ancients). This was not the only shady thing the Ancients did, as they also created a species that would subjugate the others species…They were known as the Aboleths, aquatic three-eyed monsters with the teeth of sharks, the bodies of coelacanths, and the tentacles of squids. The Aboleths were tyrannical, and were worshiped as gods by the other species thanks to both their power and the Ancients attempting to brainwash them. However, the Royal Masters realized what was going on, and in the shadows, trained 14 individuals, eacha unique member of the Ancestral Species, to be the best heroes. These heroes were known as the Ancient Knights, and them, alongside the Portal Masters and the Dragons, who were immune to mind control, rebelled against the Ancients, fighting them and the Aboleths. Eventually, the Ancient Knights, Portal Masters, and the Dragons won, sealing away the Aboleths in tombs with the water-based regions and driving the Ancients into the Cradle of Creation. Some Ancients put the blame into Brain, making him a scapegoat and putting him into a jar as punishment. Archivists now call this the Rewritten Age, as the Ancients were trying to rewrite history. The end of this age is also theorized to be when Electric, Ice, Stone, Metal, Light, and Dark were lost until recently.Roughly After the Rewritten Age, there happened to be a time where the Royal Masters disappeared from Skylands (Except for a golden Royal Master named Master Yutaka) , leaving no trace of them behind. To this day, no one is quite sure why. While this happened, the Arkeyans were gaining a lot of power, and sought to take over Skylands through a literal Iron Fist. Alongside this, the Darkness also emerged to terrorize Skylands, resulting in the Ancient Knight and Portal Masters to step in. In this dark time, 8 beings once known as the “Elder Elementals” banded together to free Skylands from the Arkeyans’ tyrannical reign and defeat the Arkeyan King who was responsible for the Arkeyan Invasion. In an epic battle, the Elder Elementals defeated the Arkeyans, destroying the Arkeyan King and deactivating the remaining Arkeyans…however, these heroes were banished, swept from Skylands and arriving in another universe with strange beings…After this event, and their own victory, The Portal Masters were seen as the main protectors of Skylands. When they heard about what happened with the Elder Elementals, the Portal Master decided that they shouldn't be the “main protectors”...The ordinary beings of Skylands that stood up for what is right should be, with the Portal Masters taking on a more advisory role. The heroes who followed in this path became known as the Skylanders, and the 8 Elder Elementals became a renowned team of Skylanders known as the Giants, for their size and heroism made them “Larger than Life”. This event resulted in the Golden Age of Skylands, where aspiring Skylanders were trained and under the guiding hand of Portal Masters to stop any evil force that would come their way. While some teams (Swap Force and Trap Team) were sent to the other universe like Giants, most teams did relatively well in their missions and became reputable individuals. This was also the point where Portal Mastery became important, as not only the study of it was delved into, but also a species from the “other universe”, known as “Human” was taken into the ranks of Portal Mastery.It is believed that the Golden Age ended through the Darkness. During what was known as the Battle of Old Shadows, the Darkness was defeated, but its influence bestowed dark powers upon certain Portal Masters and corrupted them with dark thoughts, resulting in the first Dark Portal Masters, who would go and spread their influence.While some argue the creation of the Dark Portal Masters was the end itself, it is often believed that there were 2 Dark Portal Masters that effectively caused the collapse of the Golden Age. The first was a dark Portal Master by the name of Nefarion, more infamously known as the Nightmare King for actually taking control of Skylands via an army of Dark Portal Masters. Under his rule and with the Mask of Power, Nefarion terrorized Skylands, hunting down Portal Masters one by one, actually leading to some of them escaping to other universes (Which would indirectly cause an event). Nefarion was eventually defeated by Portal Master Wizbit, who froze Nefarion and his entire castle in an eternal winter. The second was Kaos, son of the infamous Dark Portal Master Kaossandra, nicknamed “Queen of Chaos”, who while not as powerful as some other Dark or even Light Portal Masters, still somehow made up for it through other means. It is often believed that sending the Skylanders of Eon’s Team to the “other universe” was the kickstart of both the end of the Golden Age but also the Beginning of the Silver AgeThere does happen to be a legend of a third Dark Portal Master who is said to be part of this collapse. His name is said to be Malakhan, and while his story is known, it is often believed that he is simply a figure of myth. Malakhan is said to be the First Dark Portal Master, with legends saying he was the only one given he Darkness’s “Gift” due to his powers, which corrupted him. Malakhan was said to have taught those he deemed worthy Dark Portal magic resulting in it spreading its influence like a disease. Malakhan has many stories to his name, such as influencing Nefarion’s plan with the Mask of Power, corrupting Kaossandra’s ancestor and giving their lineage a curse of evil, and his unique power over the elements after finding the Ancient Knights, and sending them to the “other universe” in human forms. Legends say he is still out there, somehow…somewhere…The Silver Age marked a new beginning of Skylanders, and a multiversal connection of the “Portal Network”, a series of portals and rifts that led to other places in Skylands, Realms, and even other universes. The Silver Age was also landmarked by an ongoing battle between the Light and Dark Portal Masters.(Side note: THIS is actually where the events of Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure - Skylanders Imaginators/Ring of Heroes takes place)The Silver Age ended after the Royal Masters returned, the lost elements of Electric, Ice, Stone, and Metal were returned, and a team of Skylanders fought Kaos once and for all, which ended with the Dark Portal Master being literally sent to the Underworld, where legends say he will never return from. Which was brought with celebration for the people of Skylands, as the reign of the Dark Portal Masters was over. However, after that celebration, a collection of 14 elementally-charged crystals came to Skylands. These crystals, known as the Elemental Crystals, seemed to contain incredible powers based on the original 14 elements. At first, one Elemental Crystal was given to each of the 14 Portal Masters of the Silver Age (Who were now adults), but this eventually resulted in them being corrupted with thoughts of power, Master Eugenie causing The Elemental Shift, which changed the very geography of Skylands with elemental regions, and Portal Masters being in complete charge of these regions. This was the landscape of the War of The Elements, where Skylander fought Skylander because the Portal Masters desired power. Most of the events of this war were lost to time, but there are several Skylanders that are veterans, however most are within the Sensei Realms nowadays and have tried to forget the war even happened.The War of the Elements ended with the abolishment of the Portal Master title and the arrival of a monster known as Tetronidax (Often referred to as “The Nightfall”), who was so powerful, a group of 14 Skylanders from different regions and Master Yutaka had to work together to defeat it. It was eventually defeated by Master Yutaka sacrificing himself to destroy it. Upon its defeat, however, it seemingly connected all of the different universes that the Portal Masters of old fled into, resulting in many individuals from different worlds to come to Skylands. However, this was not actually a bad thingThe current age right now is the Neo Age of Skylands, where the unified nature of the regions is celebrated, species from other worlds have set up new lives, and the Skylanders have returned to being renowned protectors of the world, even if they don’t have Portal Masters. The Skylanders actually happened to be one of the first groups to allow “Otherworlders” (Species from other universes) to join alongside them. While this was a relative time of calm like the Golden Age, it has still had some major things happen. Some of these events include the formation of Traitors of Eon, an antagonistic group made up of former Skylanders, Ekimu, the Mask Maker from another world, having a leadership role (While not being a Portal Master), and Yutaka’s spirit being integrated into a strange device, allowing him to commune with everyone again.There is a prophecy that says a new evil unlike anything seen before will terrorize Skylands, and that 15 heroes from the Delta Earth (The “other universe”) will come to Skylands in order to become a new lineage of heroes and defeat them. was the lore for a reimagining of a former "friend"'s series. This is that reimagining.

The context of this being I actually worked on and ideas for this series my former "friend" has, but I was usually in no way credited for it unless it was brought up. hell, he even stole some of my art and posted it to my DA account. and that's not even getting into actually doing the series on Discord as RPs, which was a toxic mess and I felt disrespected at every turn. I eventually left this "friend" after he revealed (and continues to reveal) he's a creep. Even though I blocked his account, he still steals my ideas.

This series essentially attempts to fix and reimagine things that were in that former "friend"'s series while also adding in all of the ideas I had for the series in a cohesive way.

As for the plot, it's an action adventure love letter to mega crossovers and tokusatsu. A devastating attack from a new foe causes the Skylanders to send 15 strange crystals to earth, where they will choose 15 people to become heroes. 2 of those chosen ones happen to be siblings Bayani and Marikit from the Philippines, where they discover that not only do they have gained elemental powers, but they eventually discover a new Skylands, which has become where multiple different universes connect and make new lives. The two, along with several new Skylanders, create a new group in order to fight the new foe, known as the Kyberians and collect the 14 powerful Elemental Crystals, which have been scattered all across Skylands.

Some of these events include the formation of Traitors of Eon, an antagonistic group made up of former Skylanders, Ekimu, the Mask Maker from another world, having a leadership role (While not being a Portal Master), and Yutaka’s spirit being integrated into a strange device, allowing him to commune with everyone again.There is a prophecy that says a new evil unlike anything seen before will terrorize Skylands, and that 15 heroes from the Delta Earth (The “other universe”) will come to Skylands in order to become a new lineage of heroes and defeat them. was the lore for a reimagining of a former "friend"'s series. This is that reimagining.

The context of this being I actually worked on and ideas for this series my former "friend" has, but I was usually in no way credited for it unless it was brought up. hell, he even stole some of my art and posted it to my DA account. and that's not even getting into actually doing the series on Discord as RPs, which was a toxic mess and I felt disrespected at every turn. I eventually left this "friend" after he revealed (and continues to reveal) he's a creep. Even though I blocked his account, he still steals my ideas.

This series essentially attempts to fix and reimagine things that were in that former "friend"'s series while also adding in all of the ideas I had for the series in a cohesive way.

As for the plot, it's an action adventure love letter to mega crossovers and tokusatsu. A devastating attack from a new foe causes the Skylanders to send 15 strange crystals to earth, where they will choose 15 people to become heroes. 2 of those chosen ones happen to be siblings Bayani and Marikit from the Philippines, where they discover that not only do they have gained elemental powers, but they eventually discover a new Skylands, which has become where multiple different universes connect and make new lives. The two, along with several new Skylanders, create a new group in order to fight the new foe, known as the Kyberians and collect the 14 powerful Elemental Crystals, which have been scattered all across Skylands.
