Time went by so quickly...Together they watched Riley grow. Each guiding her in their own ways.
They saw her grow up, make new friends, have her first crush...
Her first heartbreak, her success in school, her improvement in Hockey, finding the right person, then having a family of her own...
What wonderful feeling that was, making all these events happen together.
Eventually, though, they knew good times didn't last forever. They saw that when Riley lost her parents.
They realized that their little girl was growing old too.
And then...
''You know... It's seems kinda silly how I was always afraid, huh?''
''Liar, you're still scared. Your legs are shaking''
''Ugh... Just give him a break, Anger. It's not like we know what will happen to us after...''
Disgust was interrupted by Sadness' sniffling.
Joy held her hand with a small smile.
''This might be the end but Sadness... Everyone.''
They all looked at her.
''I think we can proud of Riley's life. And mostly... I'm proud of making all those beautiful memories together. Disgust, Fear, Anger, Sadness....Thank you so much for being with me all this time'' She said, her eyes watering.
They didn't say anything and simply held hands, a smile on their face and turned to see through Riley's eyes. The hospital room became blurry with her own tears, but they knew she was smiling too.
''Thank you... For the memories'' She whispered, her hand in her child's.
''Goodnight... Riley'', Joy whispered.

There always been deaths in children's movies, I mean, remember Lion King? I swear this current generation of parents are being too oversensitive for the wrong reasons. Sex and violence on TV? It's a-okay. Slightly sad/disturbing thing in a cartoon? NO, PROTECT MY CHILD'S VIRGINS EYES!!!
But I can understand there would be some controversy at some point, but really it's too much lately
