hey! i've been dead for a while!no srsly, sorry for thelack of updates, i've been in this odd funk in which i haven't been able to pick up a pen or a pencil for a week and a half , it's killing me and making me feel like stupid poop.
this is a drawing i did early this month for the project rooftop contest, redesigning or fave ol' canuck.... anyhoo this was my attempt, if you wanna see kinda how the competition is going, search project rooftop wolverine here on DA and see the entries from the diferrent ppl. its fun.
anyhoo wish me look, i'm hoping for the honorable mentions, atleast.

I've been looking at all the Project Rooftop Wolvies that have been popping up on DA, and this is definitely one of the most legit. Definitely the most well-drawn, and I could see him wearing that in the comic instantly. I'm sure this is going to place high, if not win (who knows what gems people are keeping to themselves).

i know! hahah, i'm sure that all the submissions that aren't posted are the more amazing ones. (they come out of NO WHERE.)
and i'm glad you liked this one as much as you did, but i'm still only half satisfied with it...... too close to the original. with other artists i've seen on project rooftop, its the innovators that get all the attention.
i still have to force myself to innovate.

Yeah I know what you mean, the winners usually turn out to be something more... adventurous? This is really nice for what it is though. I missed out on this contest, maybe I'll join in for the next one.

thanks though now thinking about it, i wish i had gone further from the current designs and stuff. it's too close to it, in my opinion. so, we'll see.
