Personal Background
History: While generally known by her show name 'Aleia", Oksana travelled for many years with a dancing troupe during her youth before she discovered the joy of battling after performing for the Frontier Brains in the Hoenn Battle Frontier. Heading back to her home of Hearthome City, she started a battling as a hobby during her performance downtimes and learned she had a talent for merging her dance routines and techniques into her battle strategies. Believing that there was more to learn and explore, she retired from her troupe (but not her dancing) to travel and battle in various tournaments until she met her husband at a Johto training facility where he worked as an analyst. It was a quiet sort of love that brought the two together, his patient and steady head balancing her daredevil tendencies. Eventually they settled down and had a daughter, but motherhood still seems elusive for Oksana because when she heard about the Aitema Ridge Tournament, she rangled her little family together for a "fabulous vacation". Evidently, she plans on enjoying both.
