here's another sketchdump from ch 1~ I actually have a lot more scribbles than sketches so these were the only legible ones I could find xD
I was trying to figure out New Bark Town in the top right corner but never used that shot, maybe when I return to NBT i'll have the area mapped out better. Cyndaquil is actually really hard for me to figure out, his snout is really odd! And I wanted him to be read as a little bit tired, old and sharp for his age so that subtle difference between jovial youth and his personality was tricky! Paige actually has really tiny feet but in the comic she's more proportioned only bc I forgot until I saw this sketch aha. And then there's some unused lineart from ch 1.5, I had originally drawn Nell with her shoes on but I was dumb and forgot she was entering her house and therefore shoes off! and i really liked the boots i drew so i was sad i had to change them lol,,, anyways that's all for now! i'm leaving on vacation tonight and won't be back til June so if you're waiting why don't you check out my comic here!
