so i found this picture on my compter and thought that i would finally color it. i love voltron! the animation wasn't great and the dubbed story and voices kinda suck, but just the possibilities of the show are great.this is more of a look at the personal lives of the characters. princess allura cares for keith... and he cares for her. but since he is only a captain, a soldier, he doesn't express his true feelings. leaving allura feeling like he doesn't care for her at all. so here they are, in a garden together, trying to sort out how they feel... or something mooshy like that.

Nice pic. I'm a huge Keith/Allura fan and have written my own fan fics about it. I haven't had the chance to find/watch the original japanese version of Voltron, though I'd very much like to. I'm still hooked on the English voices though (but I think Tim Curry was a better Lotor than the first guy). Sorry honey, but Lotor annoyed the crap outta me. Didn't even mention him in my fic(s).

Thanks! I love those 2 together. I also really liked Lotor... the one in my head. The one in the show was really... well? A bit of a loser. But he had so much potential to be a real bad ass but never went through with anything.

Yeah the Voltron 3-D show made Lotor a somewhat better villain...and with Tim Curry's voice acting he was even better. Didn't like much else about that version of Voltron though. And I do have a huge Voltron toy...the one from 3-D with the five lions that can attach. I also have some adorable little toys from some toy collection called I-Men if you know what that is. I found them on E-Bay a few years ago and bought them. They're basically tiny models of the five lions and their pilots and have tiny magnets on their feet. I have the Voltron Force standing on top of my fridge so I see them whenever I go to get a drink. XD Maybe I'll post some pics of them.

I saw those I-Men on ebay too! I almost bought them except for one thing know as being poor at the time. Those things are cool. I have the big Voltron too! I have Keith and Allura figures somewhere. I hope they're behaving themselves.

i loved keith and wanted him and the princess to hook up SO bad! but the one thing i didn't like was keith's mullet. hated it

LOL glad to know i wasnt the only one! They put Voltron on DVD finally, and I watched it (1st volume) boy, it really brought it all back.

i know of a lot of people who really like lotor/allura... but i don't think allura is good enough for him... even as a toy. (i am a HUGE lotor fan and totally crushed on him when i was younger)

And she did other retarded things..... but I still like her character for some reason. Call me weird. If I saw my parentsw get killed in front me and then have to survive in a wartorn environment, I'd probably do something stupid too.
I tend to write her as a lot stronger than normally portrayed in my fanfiction. When I picture her the way I think she should have been, then the whole Lotor/Allura thing finally works out in my demented little imagination.

yeah, the uncut episodes are so much better because there was all those holes in the story or things seemed to happen to simply (sven dies and has a twin brother who later dies? nah, we'll just have sven survive through the whole series freakishly... no, not bitter at all). I did read this one really good fanfiction once that had allura as such a strong and capable character! it was amazing. and the writer managed to make keith not so... well, he was kinda goofy. keith was more of the dark, mysterious type. it was very good... and lotor! omg! the way she wrote him could make anyone swoon over his evil-ness!
but i am horrible when it comes to couples. i always seem to want a certain 2 people to hook... and it usually doesn't happen (cloud and aeris *ahem*). but i was so stuck on keith and allura. i think i just enjoy lotor so much i can't think of the perfect woman for him in my eyes...

check out this site [link] there are a bunch of stories in there. it is mostly about allura and keith but it is so well written and some of the plans which lotor is part of is just sooo evil (me loves 'em). but i think you might like them.
