They call to you. Some shine like a beacon, offering a feeling of connection, a whispered half-heard promise that builds to an imagined invitation. The light burns bright. The beacon burns brighter, strengthening the illusion, and just as the dream seems to solidify and become real, the beacon turns away... and leaves silence and shadow. i love the song under your photo as well, it was on the trailer for texas chainsaw massacre and i fell in love with it the first time i heard it, i guess i didnt see that before when i looked at this picture...
thats neat i dont even know anyone else who knows this song haha, the version i am speaking of however is performed by This Mortal Coil. their version is below in case you were interested.

I'm a big This Mortal Coil fan. Other people have recorded the song, I know, but Elizabeth Fraser's vocals are so great.
Tim Buckley's original version is pretty amazing too. Much simpler, but it's such a strong song.

I have always liked 'This Mortal Coil' (and Elizabeth Fraser / Cocteau Twins). Hers was the first version I heard. Now, when I sing it in my head, I mix her version with Tim Buckley's.

Jeez. Way to really cut loose. The tonal range, the blending of the composites, all expertly done. There is always much to be gained by letting shadows and highlights breathe, like in the rock shadows and the sunken ships at the edge of the space.
