Hello! I want to say congratulations on the Daily Deviation! You deserve it for something so surreal and compelling.
However, despite the nature of this series, I kind of want to point something out that caught my eye. The actress who is 'diving' into the light seems little...unusual to me. I know that it was an intended effect, but the way that she is diving almost alludes to an unnatural posture for diving. Had she been a little lower and her legs arched a little more, then this wouldn't of been such a noticeable detail. Although, one thing that I can suggest is if you want to go for a posture like that, then perhaps include a little detail on the side to allude to the height from whence she jumped. Just a little detail, and it may not be actually that big.
But again, I congratulate you on being awarded a DD! The lighting, atmosphere, and the overall design of it surely contributes to it in a positive manner!

Remember, this a surreal image.
So, what you describe may be right, if you look at it from a more realistic point of view.
The posture is unreal, yes! Looking at the synchronic swimmers and the way they dive seems to be unreal, too.
And jumping in is an idea I will think about in one of my next shoots. Sounds good.
And finally. It's only a title. You're free to find your own story in the picture.

Yep! Just pointing out the realism of the image, but I agree on the surrealism cancelling out the realistic nature all together. Besides, I love the story that is told by this photograph and probably shouldn't focus on minor details like that. XD
