My “Ode to Odin”Pencil and pen on card.
This painting is built up of references to the stories of Odin.
He is crowned by Bifrost and wings of the Valkeryie.
His animal accomplices surround him, ravens Hugin and Munin, wolves Geri and Freki.
His sacrifice of his eye has released a stream of wisdom that intertwines with his spear Gungir to strike down the wolf Fenrir.
The image is filled with rings that originate from the magical ring Draupnir.
