K this is the Cyborg Commando. The Nod super unit from Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun.Ive done this as a birthday present for my housemate who, I guarantee, will own you at the game.
There arent really any good official references for what it looks like that I could find so I was going off the picture you click on to build it (which is tiny) and the unit as it looks in game (which is even smaller). But thats all good cos it means I could make it up and noone can say Im wrong! Sweet.
Hope he likes it, I thought it came out pretty nice I never really did anyone is this kind of heavy fucking armour before.

A great fan art of the Nod Cyborg Commando. I have played a little of Tiberian Sun, and it seems interesting. The units are all good, and I like the futuristic setting. The Cyborg Commando reminds me of the Super Battle Droid from the Star Wars prequel films.

The Cyborg Commando owns all and defeats anyone in one or two shots. It alone is like a one man army. Nods elite cyborg can decimate an entire base by itself no matter how many troops are sent at itβ¦the cyborg will make short work of anything (As the cyborg commando says: βthey will know fear!β or βI can smell there fear.ββ¦β¦ βFor the brotherhood!ββ¦..β I obeyβ¦.β ). Definitely my favorite unit in the game next to the banshee, I usefully send this ultimate badass with the mutant hijacker as well in a subterranean APC. I always choose NODβ¦and I personally almost never play as GDIβ¦for I see them as weaklingsβ¦For me itβs only NOD. A definite favorite added to my list it is a good pictureβ¦

I like the armour- I like it how it curves and looks more organic. Pity I've never played the game enough to get the unit.... I'd still pwnz0r Rich though

its a pretty sick unit. one of those out of a sub terranian apc and it can screw your whole base

You gonna colour this? Because it lacks metal texture atm (I assume its metal) unless its meant to be a dull metal

ah yeah it is metal for the most part. I might colour it cos the guy it was for wanted it as a spary in CS (if you know what I mean), so it would want to be colour for that. Would be intesting Ive only coloured one machine thing ever and it was like the first bit of colouring I ever did on a pc.

I think at the minute tho Ive got to many other things I ought to be doing. Especially if I want to get this comic project of the floor in any meaningful way. Hopefully doing that will give me experience in colouring tho enough to make colouring seem less of a mission every time.

I'd seen a programme which basically took the piss out of films like that and I couldn't stop thinking about it, and also it was so badly acted and dubbed I actually had to leave the room! It only cost me Β£3 in the first place anyway, and as long as it's bringing someone joy

dunno things are just a bit fucked at the minute and have been for a while. I really dont like my course and there has been a major fuck up with my coursework which means Ive got to start again like 2/3 of the way thru the project. I dont feel too bad I think Im just quite frustrated at the minute

I feel the same on part of that, I'm not too keen on french plus I'm quite bad at it. Are you thinking of leaving after the 3 years or are you going to continue for the 4 for the MEng even though you don't like it? And can you not get an extension on your project? I'd be frustrated too, it's all rather rubbish.

well I already failed to get onto the 4 year course so I dont eactly have a choicein the matter altho I suspect even if I was offered it that at this point I wouldnt take it. Ive got another 6 weeks after x mas to do my project altho cos of the software I need I cant really do it over xmas (perhaps a blessing seeing as I need to revise) I just dont know if 6 weeks is enough time. My advice to you is that if you dont like your course then change it while you have the chance. I almost switched at the start of year 1, the end of year 1 and also when I thought I was gonna fail last year I almost switched. I realise now I should have, but I stuck it out and now really regret doing so

They actually wouldn't let me, so I'll have to see how I do in January I guess. I'm going abroad too, so if I'm really bad and hate the language . . . well I think I'm in trouble :\ I wanted to switch even before I got to uni, but I've sort of grown to tolerate it almost.
6 weeks is crazy, I'm sure you'll be fine when all's said and done mind. You wouldn't still be here otherwise. Do you think you'll do something else degree-ish after this?

I was thinking I might do an art-type degree after this one but now I dont think it would be a great idea. Im gonna try and do some courses in things. Maybe a part time-illustration course and/or a course in 3D. That way I can work at the same time and do something I enjoy
