THIS IS STUPID.
There has always been evil characters, and super colourful ones; and Homestuck has the deepest plot I've ever seen.
Also, very few characters have actually 'died' per se. Sure they've died, but they still exist in the Dream Bubbles.

It just annoys me when people complain about how Homestuck 'has no plot' and stuff like that
And actual, proper, fleshed out characters from that list who are officially completely dead: 3 (maybe 4 [I don't belive Hussie is actually dead])
The tricksters have existed for the past few days, you can't really complain about them
As for 'adding' how many bad guys have there been in total? The Black King/Queen, Jack/Spades, Lord English/Caliborn, the Condesce. We've known about all of them for a long time now, we just learn more as time goes on.

tried playing it back in early 2010 but once it reached into outerspace (or was it an empty void) my reaction was something like this:

and (going to a huge ass anime convention) the fans are comprised of mostly teenage girls between 13-16

apparently they were going to stall Jack (I think), but we never saw that happening
