Sailor Dee is by far one of my favorite characters in KSS! Right behind Marx and MK! Of course he survived! He was in that other Kirby game with Bandanna Dee, chearing MK on from the background!

I love the idea of Sailor Dee surviving, but for some reason it doesn't fit as well to me... Don't get me wrong, Sailor Dee is my favorite character in Super Star behind Meta Knight and Kirby, and also beating everyone else in the games and/or animes except for maybe Adeleine and Ribbon, but those are iffy. It's really good work. I can always hope Sailor Dee survived in canon. ^.^
