Perhaps they are waiting for the Western movie to appear in theaters to release the game around then. Yet, my gut feeling is that it will remain a Japanese exclusive.

An American one is being made by the director of the Resident Evil movies. They made the announcement on the live stream where they showed the Wii U game for the first time. Still, it could be a year or two before the movie releases.

Oh, this could be bad. Just like most asian horor movies remake made in USA. It will loss its japanese flavour too. It's one of the thing I like about Fatal Frame. Roaming inside old Jaoanese mansions.

I agree with that. I'm not excited about this movie at all, but if it increases the chance of the wii u game coming out here, then I would have to say it's worth it.

The WII U need good games to sell, this one is good and really use the wii pad in the good way ! This can help, not a wierd movie.
