It recently dawned upon me that my gallery was lacking in Moogles. And I call myself a Moogle lover. For shame!This was another notebook doodle that I turned into a piece of digital art. Man, I wonder if I should do this more often.
The design is somewhat of a combination between the Moogles of Final Fantasy 6, 9, and 14, while the colors are based on that Moogle plush sitting on my desk. I really love the lil' guy.

You know Kapos or moogles started in ff3/ff6. Iv loved the little guys due to their badassness. Then in ffta they go back to being battle types over mail carriers. Their quirkiness is what i love about them though.

Actually, moogles made there first appearance in the real FF3 (the one that was never released outside of japan until 2006). They didn't say "kupo" at the time, though. they first started saying "kupo" in FF5, and FF6 created the image of moogles that everyone pretty much recognizes today (Pom-poms, Squinty eyes, etc.).
But yeah, there's no denying the awesomeness of the little critters. I especially love the ones from Ivalice. They really take things up a notch.

Eh, it won't last. This was one of those notebook doodles that I couldn't replicate into a real drawing no matter how hard I tried, so I went digital on it. Man, I'll never understand why my doodles turn out better than my actual drawings so often.
