Description Elsa, the Queen of Arendelle.


She has spent her life concealing the icy-snow powers she was born with, don't feeling, being afraid of hurting anyone. However the coronation's day her entire world changes when she accidentally shows her powers and has to flee to the mountains. There she will embrace her true self and let her magic go, accepting for the first time that there could be beauty in it.

Well here it is! I have to say I was not sure if I'd like the new Disney Classic, but when I saw 'Frozen' I fell in love with the characters, music and story. Actually I know it could've been a more epic and complex movie but I think it's a great film. With Tangled, Wreck-it-Ralph and Frozen I think we could be in a new Disney's Silver Age, yay!!

Creo que se debe al fracaso en taquilla que fue El planeta del tesoro (a mí me gustó). No recaudaron tanto como las pelis CGI de aquel entonces (la saga Shrek), y decidieron centrarse en otro tipo de cine.
Lo intentaron de nuevo con The princess and the frog, pero Enredados recaudó más
Supongo que las pelis CGI son más baratas que las pelis de animación tradicional.
Yo también las hecho de menos.

I don't know why, but she reminds me of a Russian princess, or probably Russian type of a woman - the face, the clothing (but if to remove sleeves). Anyway, I love your drawing style!

I love the detail in her expression, particularly the eyes. She looks determined, like she's anticipating the amazing things her powers can do.

I like her snow/ice dress, but there's something very comforting, and warm (not just literally) about her coronation dress. I love the detail at the bottom of the skirt, and the movement of it.

Hi! thank you so much! I wanted her to look "free" and enjoying her magic. I rather her ice dress too, but I like this one so much and I decided to draw her with it in the first place. I love the embrodery and all the details of the scandinavian/ norwegian culture in it. 


I'll make another one with the great Snow Queen stuff (castle, dress and more magic)

De modo que este era el dibujo del que hablabas cuando me comentaste la animación.

¡Qué bien te ha quedado! Me gusta mucho tu estilo; quiero decir, el personaje ve pequeño, pero tan poderoso en conjunto. Aquí transmite mucha fuerza y, como dice la canción, liberación. Me encantan los copos de nieve saliendo por todas partes casi en espirales. La verdad es que Elsa es un personaje que me ha gustado mucho.


Y qué decir de los detalles, la nieve brillando ("la nieve brilla esta noche aquí más" xD), el movimiento del vestido, el estamapado...

¡Muchísimas gracias Erik! estaba esperando tu opinión . La verdad que me lo pasé muy bien haciéndolo, tenía muy claro cómo quería que quedase, una declaración de libertad y tratar de transmitir lo que transmite ese momentazo en la película ^^. Tengo en mente otro con ella ya vestida de Reina, pero será distinto:

Acabo de darme cuenta que últimamente siempre hago la misma composición xD, personaje entero (me encanta que se vean de cuerpo completo) en el fondo. Supongo que lo hice por practicar fondos, pero ya es hora de cambiar.

Es mi parte favorita de la película Elsa es un personaje que me ha encantado, aunque está bastante desaprovechada...ojalá hubiese sido la auténtica protagonista.
