Description

I was asked recently to draw the logo for a play that I'm currently in at my school. This is the finished product (without text and dates and such). The vision for our production is that we are setting Shakespeare's tale in the American late 60s early 70s.

The court is then representative of Nixon and Vietnam, while Arden is the counter culture hippies. The logo is supposed to be a psychedelic tree (think tripping hippies) and was inspired by the work of Peter Max. The play is very bright and colorful with lots of stunning lighting, set pieces, costumes, and hair (I am playing Phebe and dyed my hair bright red-violet).

I am really loving what we have done and the cast is all so amazing.

Also looking forward to our next production which is Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (my dream musical).
