When I learned since Yesterday that last Thursday, the Oceanside Pier, along with the Brine Box food stand and the former Ruby's diner, was destroyed by fire. Luckily, 90% of the pier is saved. My heart breaks from the inside after hearing this. I been on this pier during my spring break vacations (2 or 3 vacations) at beach houses in the past with my family and relatives and it was amazing. I been to Ruby's diner for I don't know how many times I went to it (but I haven't tried out the foods yet at the Brine Box food stand). I like to see the sea birds hang out on the pier, hearing the ocean waves, and other while I was on the pier. But the best part is, when I'm on the balcony of a beach house or if I'm at the beach, I get to see the pier. That pier is legendary and historic. And I hope someday, the Oceanside pier will be back to normal. My fingers will be crossed and hope this pier will be back to former glory.
