The rest of the team are coming back from the candy store, wondering when Rocket will be back. Suddenly they are attacked by the notorious Delightful Siblings. They fights back but are outmatched until Rocket shows up. Using their traditional teamwork, they defeat the Delightful Siblings. He adds insult to their defeat. A rainstorm hits, and they runs off. Humiliated, the Delightful Siblings claim that their mother is "most unsatisfied," and walk back to their mansion. They arrive at their home, approaching their mother named Opaline Arcana, who is indeed most unsatisfied. She reveals that she considered the Little Einsteins a minor nuisance and sent the Delightful Siblings to deal with them. However, she has grown annoyed with their constant failures and the team's interference. In fury, she demands the Delightful Siblings to destroy the Little Einsteins or face punishment. Although trembling from the rage of Opaline's voice, they ask permission borrow the "Really Really Incredibly Destructive Machine." She answers their request and hands them the keys, granting her children not only the means of destroying the team, but also taking their revenge.

At the hanger, the team dries off, and Rocket explains that he was needed by the moon to search out a number of operatives who had now turned into a teen after the age of 13 and had to be decommissioned. The team agrees this, but they ultimately accept that nobody could stay a kid forever and once you're no longer a kid, you can't be a member of the Little Einsteins, but Rocket brightens the moment up by stating that they won't be growing up for a long time yet. Not long after, the Delightful Siblings smash into the hangar with their machine, ready to finish things between them and the team. A long and destructive battle follows with the team throwing everything they have at the Delightful Siblings, but are easily outmatched. The battle comes to an end when Rocket is captured. They decide that merely beating Rocket and his friends isn't enough, and that he has to lose everything. They bring out the age changing device and blast Rocket with it before throwing him aside. Reveling in their victory, the Delightful Siblings destroy the team's hangar, leaving them defeated.

The next morning, the rest of the team search for Rocket. Annie finds him, and the team is shocked to discover that he has been transformed into an adult. His friends try to lift his spirits up by vowing to get revenge on the Delightful Siblings for doing this to him, but he snaps at them. Now, he has no choice but to leave the Little Einsteins because he is too old to be in it, and leaves knowing he has to find a job, much to his team's heartache.

Two weeks later, the hangar is still in ruins, because without Rocket, the team has had no motivation to rebuild it or undertake any missions, including getting revenge on the Delightfuls, while in the meantime they had been using a cardboard box as a temporary base. Finally, after realizing they need to make a restart somewhere, Quincy convinces the others to go get ice cream, where they found Rocket, who works as the ice cream truck driver, refuses to give any of the kids ice cream, telling them it is against the rules of his duties, much to their disappointment. June tells him that he used to put the team before everything, but now he's become a selfish old crank. Before driving away, Rocket angrily tells her, "When you're an adult, you'll learn it's every man for himself! And you'll learn the hard way." He drives off and June is disheartened by his attitude.

The team goes to visit the Delightfuls, and manage to steal the device to change Rocket back to his orignal age, but they refuse to give it up, and they struggle over the ray, turning into teens, babies, and even seniors. The battle ends with Rocket crashing his ice-cream truck into their mansion, coming in and simply asking for the device. The Delightfuls are incredulous until he points out that since he is now an adult, therefore, they must obey him.

The Delightfuls reluctantly hand over the remote just as Opaline Arcana comes in, congratulating Rocket on "tricking a bunch of kids." She than unleashes her fire powers on him. They fight back and finally successfully overcome her with a barrage of Rocket's ice cream. While he has the chance to use the device on the Delightful Siblings for turning him into an adult, he chooses to transform his age back to normal and destroy the device. Opaline is defeated and the Delightfuls tremble with fear over what they had just witnessed. The Little Einsteins then leave the mansion together, fully reunited as a team once again and satisfied that they had taught their foes a lesson. Although everything else was now tied up, the team still need to rebuild their hangar, but Rocket is not worried, as he states, reminding Leo what he had said at the beginning, "It's going to be a long time before they grow up." Afterwards, their hangar has been rebuilt after the incident.
