Courtney wasn't meant to be what she was after TDI. It was because of Cartoon Network and Teletoon wanting the dreaded love triangle. Thus, character derailment ensued for her, Trent and so on. It's such a shame...

After re-watching all three seasons (not including the fourth one), I just can't help but support the Trent-Gwen-Duncan triangle. I still find Courtney to be annoying, not as annoying as Heather of course, and find her over-rated. I understand the whole couple for it, bad boy and good girl, but Courtney just brags about her CIT crap and basically does nothing. I'm just ranting and stuff and-- wait, why haven't I added this to my favorites yet?

I totally agree with this stamp. The fangirls pretty much WORSHIP this pair and say it is the most "kawaii desu" thing ever. Did I forget to mention that they pretty much wish death on Gwen and get butthurt when someone doesn't like DxC? That is why I ship DunHar, AleDuncan, DuNoah, Prussia/Duncan, England/Duncan, and France/Duncan rather than the popular "canon" pairings, but I respect others' opinions and I can understand why someone wouldn't like my shippings~

Totally agree. I actually liked the pairing at first in season one, despite my hatred for Courtney, then season two came along and I was like: "Yeaaahhh, I'm done with this >>"
And what makes it worse is most of the Total Drama fanfics I find are of them >.< It's seriously getting old... Also, thanks to Courtney, Duncan probably can't have kids now >>
