Yeager was awesome from the first day I saw him (and I didn't even have the game or an X-box yet). I feel now the reason his SM is so hard is so you have the liberty (and reason) of facing him multiple times. (Disregarding post-game)
The Casey sidequest/ LC Invitation sidequest makes you feel even more sympathetic for Yeager, as all of his deeds (seen or unseen) went for a good cause.

Yeager is awesome for multiple reasons, one of them being that he has the hardest (damn near impossible) SM in the game. None of the others took as long as his did.
That said I loved Leviathan's Claw, Yeager and his daughters should have gotten more screen time and they shouldn't have lost their papa.

I'm glad someone else recognized Yeager's true awesomeness aside from his super difficult secret mission, but I give it props. I haven't spent so much time battling one boss. In fact, I drew this while I was still fuming over the SM.
I totally agree with you on that point. They make the coolest family ever.
However, I'm not quite done drawing them yet. They'll show up again.
