Properties:
Silent Strike: When the wielder successfully attacks with the Dagger of Eternal Silence, the target and those within 5 feet must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be silenced, unable to make any sound for 1 minute.
Void's Whisper: The wielder can activate the dagger to cast "Pass Without Trace" once per long rest, enveloping themselves and their allies in a cloak of silence that masks their passage.
Cosmic Quiet: Once per day, the wielder can plunge the dagger into an object or surface to cast "Silence," creating a sphere of magical quiet 20 feet in radius centered on the point of contact.
Curse: Absence of Sound:
Eternal Hush: The power of the dagger comes with a cost. Each time its abilities are used, the wielder's voice grows fainter. After three uses, the wielder loses their voice completely for 24 hours, unable to speak or make any sound.
Isolation of the Void: If the dagger is used to kill, the wielder begins to hear whispers from the void, unsettling tales of silence and emptiness. These whispers can only be silenced by the presence of another living creature within 5 feet. If the wielder spends more than an hour alone, they must make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or suffer a level of exhaustion as the isolation of the void consumes them.
