Personality: Although she has good intentions, she can seem distant and somewhat aloof around people. She doesn’t talk much or at all to those she hardly knows. When she is among someone who is familiar that she can trust, others will be shocked to see her smile or laugh and say more than just a few words in a single sentence. A tomboyish-type who possesses a strong intellect and a sharp, witty demeanour and can be a bit of a loner despite being content with her individual lifestyle. Upon first impressions, some see her as a grumpy type but those who know her are aware that she is not normally like this.

Once she finds herself in the middle of a zombie outbreak, she realises she will have to learn how to trust others if she wants to stay alive. If she is ever attacked by someone (or a group), she will fight back in a manner like an animal trapped in a corner.

Appearance: Mid-length black hair in a messy ponytail. Blue eyes and light freckles on her pale face. She is 4'9 and her body is a little thin due to the lack of food she eats living in the streets, resulting her skin to be coated in a bit of dirt. She tries to keep herself clean as best as she can (eg. using water and dispensable soap in public restrooms). Her right eye appears to be healing from a black eye and she has a small cut on her forehead. Her ears are pierced with small silver hoops.
Outfit(s): Currently wearing a jacket over a light-grey hoodie. When she goes into public places, she wears the hoodie over her head to avoid being recognized. Dark blue jeans and black sneakers. All of her clothes are dirty and a little torn yet the layers manage to keep her warm enough to get through the cold nights. She has small neck accessories and on her back is a dark green rucksack she never parts from. They contain all of her belongings and something of great importance, which makes her clingy to it if someone gets too close.

Strengths: Her wits have taught her how to handle living homeless and use money wisely, as well as where to go and what places to avoid. She has quick reflexes that have gotten her out of tough situations. Most see her as just a kid but she has no problem proving she's far more capable of taking care of herself than others would expect.
Weaknesses: Her past experiences, especially from recent events, led her to become edgy around strangers. If they give any hint that would threaten to bring her home, she would immediately take off before they have a chance to.

Relationship to other OC’s (If OC’s are friends/enemies etc Feel free to speak to other people submitting OC’s!): Due to her current situation, Jennifer can appear a little paranoid after meeting someone new if they start asking questions. But if they earn her trust, her true side will emerge once she comes out of her shell, revealing the more relaxed teenager she really is. When facing danger, she will try to help someone if they need it. She can feel awkward around children, but she doesn't hate them. She just doesn't know how to deal with them.

Background:
Born and raised in Raccoon City, Jennifer’s life was seemingly normal like any other. Her father is a scientist working for Umbrella Inc. Her mother died to an illness when she was young yet he was not much of a father to his child, even before she passed away. He was always more interested in his research and spent more time in his office or the Umbrella research facilities. She attended school and did get along with a few friends but she had never been close to anyone.

One night, she heard a strange noise coming from her father’s office and was compelled to investigate despite always being told to never go in. When she went in, she found a secret room she never knew existed and inside, she discovered her father was a monster. He and other members of Umbrella had been conducting sickening human experiments on innocent people, including her own mother. It was all connected to the reports on the News of people disappearing or being killed by acts of cannibalism. He caught her before she could sneak off and went to catch her, but she fought back and got away. She hid in nearby grounds after calming down and waited for him to leave in the early morning. Once he was gone, she snuck back in and dared to go back into that dreadful room, stealing his research notes and photographs he had as proof of his evil deeds. She also stole some of his money after packing anything she could into her rucksack and ran away into town as fast as she could. Taking valuable evidence with her, she was determined to bring her father and the rest of Umbrella to justice.

Never before she did picture herself spending the night on the streets but having no one to turn to, what choice did she have? At first she was scared yet when the days expanded into weeks, she found herself adjusting to surviving on her own. However, she grows concerned as the money she’s been using starts to become low. During the early days, she remembered the Special Tactic And Rescue Squad (S.T.A.R.S.) of the Raccoon City Police Department have been investigating the strange incidents going on in town and decided to bring the evidence to them. She tried calling their direct contact number through a payphone yet would only hear the automated voice say that they were unavailable so she eventually tried going to the police department, despite her worries of being recognized if her father or anyone reported her missing. Keeping her hood over head, she approached the reception desk and asked if she could speak to anyone from S.T.A.R.S. and was told that they were not present (all gone to the Arklay Mountains) and that she would have to come back another time. The receptionist claimed she could speak to another police official if she wanted to report a crime and she declined, quickly making her leave.

She has done this on a regular basis, back and forth to the station, and has noticed that the chief there, Chief Irons, has been watching over her in suspicion for some time now. She is not aware of his association with Umbrella yet his gaze always disturbs her to no end. While she tries her best to go through another day homeless, she hopes S.T.A.R.S. will return soon so her constant fears will come to an end, never knowing if her father or anyone from Umbrella could be out there looking for her.

I'm a sucker for Group Projects and has recently started a Resident Evil one focusing on the Raccoon City Oubreak. So I decided to take this chance to create a new OC since I do need to add more to my list coz I have so few. This is a new OC so she will most likely be updated, especially if there's anything Shakanna doesn't approve of. I hope this is okay, Shak!
