Description Fractal thingy 394

Conodonts are funny fish that lived all the way back in the Cambrian. Though you don't see their skeletons very often, you do find their 'teeth'. They come in a variety of shapes and forms (See [link] ). I love them. I find them all the time in the limestones arounf Kingston (Ontario) and have a few at home now. They are very small though. One interesting thing about them is that they change coolour when they are heated up. This means that when the rock get burried and hesats up, the conodont will change colour and stay the colour that represents the maximum heating. This is usefull for oil exploration since the conodonts are normally yellow at the ideal temperature for oil to form.

I think this fractal looks somewhat like it could be a conodont, or some sort of bones. I love it all to death
