Something iside me wants to say "Dafuq?", but in the end, who am I to judge? I don't really understand it though. On the other hand, seeing what people on this site are into (For example guro...), it doesn't weird me out as much as it should.
Humans are a weird species, don't you think? Like, we base our whole system, and all our values on rational, logical thinking, but in some of us, sometimes, something just snaps. And we consider it normal. Well, maybe it just is. But why? Why do some of us like to hurt others, eat others, flatten others, or just tickle them? Our brains are about 54% more powerful than the majority of species on the planet, we built machines, developed a language and a social system, yet in case of a fetish, all rationality just fades away.
It's just like at some point, your brain is like "Yeah, so, uh, I really like very, very flat people."

Hahaha that is so true! I think since they are creating the picture/ comic, they have creative freedom over what they want and don't need to apply to physics. This is probably why almost all of the flattening you see, they are cartoonishly flattened, not gruesome. I try to relate flattening to 'normal' people. I think we're attracted to it like breasts (as I am male) but there has got to be some reason behind it. I actually did some research. It isn't genetic people say but on past experiences. I can relate as when I was younger, I watched a TV show called Brazil Brush or something and a man got flattened like a cartoon. For whatever reason I just cringed so much and felt funny. This happened again in Malcomn in the middle and same feeling again. One time a girl got flattened and I liked it. Not as a sexual way as I was too young. I just enjoyed seeing it happen (again, in cartoon form). When I grew up I found out I found it sexually attractive. Idk if the person being flattened depends on sexuality. But for some people, when people get flattened they want them to be dizzy or not hurt one bit. People like me imagine them badly hurt or...to be honest...dead. I Think that makes me sexist wanting woman to die from being flattened, but I know I'm not the only one killing by flattening and being sexually attracted. I try to work it out but I think its just on life experiences. But if it was then why did I cringe The first time a man got flattened? Maybe after seeing that I wanted it happening to a woman? Its confusing, I know. Some people like flattening themselves but since I'm a male I wouldn't dare. Some people can explain it but there's different types of flattening fetish. Flattening fetish seems to be the biggest one that is ignored.

Did you know that about 80% of all unusual fetishists are male? It's because of a Dysfunction in your testosterone production on unusual occasions. Growing up, your organism (not orgasm) learns and adopts to its environment, and for some reason, your brain decided it's for the best to pour out testosterone and dopamine when people are flattened, because you seemed to like that little shock when someone's hurt. It's much like an addiction. When you smoke a cigarette or THC, your body nitices that more than usual dopamine is poured out and craves for more. So really, I guess as a kid, you might have felt shock (often, shock is a very dizzy, weird feeling), because maybe you even found it disgusting, but your brain decided it wanted more, so it formed synapses to make you want more.
I'd even go as far as saying that's not strange in the slightest. Why do we watch horror movies, play scary games and love to watch the news, and all the bad things that are happening in the world? Because we like shock and disgust, that weird feeling you get in your tummy when someone gets hit in the testicles and so on.
I think you are more or less normal, so I'll roll with that. BTW, I just talked to someone had a phantasy about having orgasms inside the belly of a snake and another dude liking really, really fat women. So, uh, you're alright.
