Well, that's something I think only those who are actually turned on about it can really tell. Similar to how you innately find curvacious or well-built bodies attractive, I, and many others, are innately attracted to this. Why? Hell if I know, but I may as well enjoy myself whilst I'm on this planet. I've attempted my own research into why people find specific things attractive and frankly, there are only two options I've discovered. There's the obvious "association" route where, in childhood, someone may associate the cartoons they watch to be a pleasurable experience. And for most, they are! Pleasurable to watch, but nothing more. Not sexual pleasure or anything. As they grow older, that association stays with them and they mix the pleasure associated with the sexual association as they continue through puberty. And thus leads to...well a fetish. Since they gain pleasure out of it, why would they stop the association?
The other bit of research I've discovered that contradicts this, however, is that you may believe through therapy this association can be broken. Any association that can be made, can be broken too. A complete contradiction to Pavlov's original experiment in 1902. So if fetishes are an association, why can some people never lose that association? For example: Foot fetishists can control their urges to act upon feet being sexually pleasing, but they will always believe it, no matter what they do. Paraphiliacs can help subside their desire, but cannot destroy it.
So ultimately, I'm not sure how anyone would be turned on by this. It could be one of many reasons. What one person finds attractive in ball transformation, another may also find attractive for another reason. I couldn't tell you man, people are just complicated af.

Pyra sure does make for a great poster, doesn't she? I've got the frame and everything ready and waiting for her at the end of the line, so she'll even have a snug new home to go to. Isn't that just terrific for her?
