The message conveyed in both the text and the image comes across as very strong.
A very emotional piece indeed. And is as such a very "good" and powerfull piece. (Imo expression is the most powerfull aspect of all art)
I can't speak for others but it realy made me think of the people i have lost over the years.

effective... i don't know if i could say that it was "good" because i don't know if anything that sad can be "good" but it has a lot of emotion and makes a powerful statement.
