It is a very well balanced movie with lots of character and subelty and this scene even used to scare me when I was younger.

Pretty cool, although the Coliseum actually seems smaller than it usually appears (probably the angle). I always liked that double eclipse effect in the movies. It lost its significance to me after all the 2009 revelations and what-not, though.
