Remember when shadow ball was the only real ghost move you had and it hit on defense instead of special defense? It was the stupidest idea ever! I always just thought it thunderbolt and dream eater and stuff. So it could handle many more situations. Oh Gengar you're such an awesome pokΓ©mon!

ooo you must use him! Certainly now that his moveset got a lot bigger! He's very good as a finisher or sweeper since his high speed and special attack combination. Teach it shadow ball, thunder bolt and your free for me. I usually give it hypnosis and dream eater for healing, but you could give it things like nasty plot and sludge bomb to make it more versatile. Stab on sludge bomb! Many forget it's semi-poison.

Aah you sell him very well! My fiance has one with curse and he's just amazing. (And called Steve I think haha) I don't actually think I've ever used a ghost type in my team :u
