The thoughtful lighting sets off the marble-like qualities of the model's muscle-taut skin and powerful features. Setting him against the old, crumbling rail, hiding what, if anything he wears just adds to his power, mystery and allure. The photographer has left no detail in the piece to chance, right down to a displayed time piece on the young hunk's wrist, sending multiple messages about time, timelessness juxtaposing the impetuousness of youth against a time-worn, majestic setting. All that has gone before has led us to this one hot, hunky moment. The piece suggests all sorts of cool adventures. As the cover for an action novel, an M/M Romance, or M/F Romance, this piece would ensure sales, but it is sweet, sexy Art in its own right as well, and a conversation starter.

When I look at this I can see masculinity...originality and art !
I like the feeling the picture sends to the viewer, the lonely model that gives the impression that has spotes someone but in the same time it can be confusing! Because it can be also a thoughtfull look .
The combination of naked with ancient enviroment can also inspire braveness . A warrior by the look of body...the model himself it's good looking and has a cute aura around ...maybe of innocence? Or maybe just a frustration .
In any case this piece really made me feel that I woul like to see more of the model and by more I mean both more of his body and more pieces of art with him in future. (TOTALLY sorry about the repetition)
As an ending word for this critique to describe the whole picture I'd put out "ATTRACTIVE" on the artist's table.

The lighting here is very strange. it looks like a green screen, or maybe even a photo manip, instead of a photo.
Love the expression he has. Looks like a king looking down on his subjects as they gather for.. something?
Also, where do they breed teenagers like this? I'm impressed by the muscles on this one, but you could have knocked me over with a feather upon reading that he's 16. That's crazy. They don't even make grown men like that, around here!

Has an Assassin's Creed feel about it! Or better put...Assassin's Creed would do well to have him in there stable! Very cold and foreboding look on the face, with a body of steely flesh! A young Warrior! Well done!

wow! extremely grand, impressive, and intimidating. i could see a thousand stories woven from this image.
one criticism - since its requested - i know very little of photography, so im sure theres terminology that im unaware of for what i want to describe, but perhaps the foreground and background could be blended or matched a little better? it seems to me there are two different types of light here, coming from slightly different directions. while the contrasting tones do in fact highlight the figure in the foreground, making him, as i said, very impressive, as a layman viewer i found the intensity of the contrast a little distracting. furthermore, the background image appears to be of slightly worse resolution than the one superimposed on it. nonetheless, its a fantastic piece, and you should be very proud.

Amazing composition, the model on the right side and the slight movement of his body add a lot to the general feeling of the scene... I would've used a bit more of colour on his eyes, but still, great work
