Description
This is for a friend of mine on DA, she reminded me of the existance of the SatAM sonic series of which I adored as a child. After happening upon the Sonic community on DA I was appauled! It was certainly the most vicious and spiteful of all the communities that I had found, SonMina, SonSally and SonAmy fans hurling abuse at each other and getting banned!! But then I met Vixena and she was one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, especially in the Sonic community. Now don't have a dig at me because I'm dissing the community, I now consider myself very much a part of it even though this is the first Sonic art I have produced since around 1996.It feels very strange to draw a character that you know so well in your own style.
I am aware that this isn't how Sonic characters look, this is my style. It wasn't meant to look like the style in SatAM, the games or even the archie comics, it is my own and I am very proud of it. Please take this into consideration before commenting.
I was going to upload this to the Sally Acorn fan club but it seems to be banned right now. I'll have to enquire about that...

Man, Sally Acorn. That takes me back a long way. God, must be, what, maybe 8 or so years... Damn, those cartoons were awesome.
But, anyway, going off on a tangent. Awesome drawing, and the background rocks too. Very... jungly, I think.

Thank you Apollyon for your sweet comments, and compliments actually! Yeah, some people in the Sonic community are like... Woah. Shutup, sadly, I know that sometimes I can be like that (only with Mina though and that's because of certain people on DA that I don't want to mention because whenever I speak her name I jsut want to puke) But converting the Sonic characters into your own style is jsut so much fun! Seeing so many different renditions of them is remarkable. I love your rendition of Sally, it's amazing. When I saw the lineart I was blown away, but your coloring skills are like *boom in face* I can see her little fur markings too OMG!!! Her hair is jsut to die for, I definatley prefer the short hair to the long one any day, I think it makes her look sexier. Now all there's left to do is color the other one that made me want to drool
