Reins of the Raven LordAhhh my newest and most prized mount!
I try my hardest to get runs to instances with mount drops, if people are asking for heroics I'll try and get a group for Setthek Halls, I'm always pestering for Zul'Gurub and whenever I'm moonkin I spend my days grinding my little feathery butt off in Stratholme.
After much pestering and a little pugging I got a group together for Setthek Halls, I'd been about 30 times total I'd say and never seen the mount drop so I wasn't really expecting it to at all. When the loot box popped up I stared at it for quite a while before realising what it actaully was, which fortunately for me the pugs didn't haha! My guild master was there with his alt tank and being the guy in command, demanded everyone passed stating I deserved it because I spend so much time grinding mounts! It's a tiring task with great, but very few and far between rewards and he really made me so happy!
The raven mount is by far my favourite one at the moment, I just don't get off him!!

Requires riding level 70 the max level you can get on wow at this time is 80. You made a mistake.

That's a screen cap from the items desc in wowhead.com back when I got the mount last year some time, mounts have changed- it only requires lvl40 now.

Ahhhh, what I wouldn't give for a Raven Lord. :< I'm on a druid roll on my main, I've been collecting the Cenarion and Stormrage sets, I've got the Guardian of Cenarius title, CE tabard on most of the time...
I'll get it eventually. Once my sister gets to honored with Lower City to help me out. *grits teeth*
In the mean time I cherish my Fiery Warhorse. You don't have that one, do you?

Well, good luck with it! I got mine on my 6th or 7th run; was completely stunned that it had dropped because my guild master and I were just saying, 'Hey, doesn't this guy drop a mount?' 'Oh yeah, some kind of horse.' and then there it was.

Oh hey, and to add further onto my annoying luck, I happened to win the Blue Proto-Drake off Skadi just a half hour ago. It was on my hunter, not my druid, but I'm just sitting here thinking, 'why, Blizz, why?'. xP Well, someday I'll have that Raven Lord.

my guild is almost all 80s, and we are starting to farm that mount, so far no luck.....

Jessus I want that mount SOOOO BAD!!! I have 20 mounts O_O I collect the mount's and tabard im exalted with just about every faction in OL Besides teh 25 man raid's It's awsome. SOmeday I'll con my Freind Warguard when he xfers back over for spam runs.

I've been in Sethekk over 100 times already (I stopped counting) on my druid and shaman combined, just for the sole purpose of getting this, and I haven't even seen it drop.
But that's my luck I guess, I'm still toting around my Kara shield on my shammy while the Hyjal, ZA, and BT shields just refuse to drop for me. -_-

OMG lucky, I've been to Sethekk around 50 times, saw it drop 2 times, never got it -.-, well next time I see it drop I'll put on loot master and give it to me muwahaha!
Grinding sethekk for almost 3 weeks now every day since I'm on holiday, and if I don't get one soon, ppl are gonna die (lol, kidding), srsly best mount ingame!
Ur so lucky to have reasonable guildies letting u have it, I bet that if I ran throught it 1k times, no one would care. T.T

I'm still working on getting this guy. I don't need any other land mount - Anzu is glorious! So far I've tried to placate him to drop the reins with poetry, booze, reciting Raven God lore, pleading with invisible GMs.. where will it end! Someday, Anzu, someday..
