This is spiritual self portrait, representing the duality of one's nature, the soft lonely face, the graceful wings, attached to a brutal form, with a contrast included in complementary colors (which i always felt was a misleading term) i don't do a lot of color in my work so this was me stepping into the shallow end of the water a little bit.
