Description
I did this in memory of my father who was a big fan of the doors and had done similar works, unfortunitly i don't have any of his, so i felt compelled on his death's aniversary to do this. My memory of my dad and the music he loved is tied very closely. So i took it with me when i visited his grave, first time i've gone since he died 6 years ago. I actualy did this in 10-15 minutes so it went really quick, i may make furter attempts because it's so difficult to capture his essance on paper, i mean Morrison is well, beyond words to me. I believe a lot of the great musicians who blaze in with greatness and are quickly snuffed out, there the prophets of this age, they have an importants beyond the music, beyond the lyrics. Anyway this is part of a series i guess, i have another i will be posting of hendrix, (partialy cause i got a possable offer for it) as well as cobain and maybe greenday (as those two are other influences that were big on my dad and me) i was considering janis but i don't know where the theme is going, just legends i guess.
