Description
Made with UF3 (Yeah it's outdated, but it still works!)----------------
This will be one of the last fractals that I will render on my current Dell 8100. For most of my previous fractals, I've had to overclock my graphics card that I've had since Y2K, and pray it doesn't fry...
But no longer! I just ordered a sweet system from Newegg for under $310. I'll be posting the spec's up on my journal because I'm so freakin' excited!
-------
Enjoy!

As long as it's for personal use I don't mind. I just stopped allowing downloads because there are a lot of sites that rip off artwork from DA, and sell it as cell phone wallpapers etc. I just don't want to take the chance of someone making money off my art without permission, as this has already happened to my photography account.

I can understand that ^^ I don't mind :3 I'll always ask first.
and it'll only be for personal use. Not planning on selling my art ^^
I'm sorry that you had to deal with others stealing it though. I know that artists usually don't like others taking credit for their hard work.

this image is gorgeously captivating; similarly, after "trading in paper and pencil" for a more prioritized digital experience, i am fairly amazed to witness how far my traditional pen-paper techniques have come~~~i love both, and both can compliment one another quite nicely; especially, with programs like photoshop, corel paint...
also, unfortunately, even with your beautifully displayed image here without a large(copywrite stamp in the middle) it could be pirated....
i prefer not to worry about such matters...i can only hope folks will enjoy a bit of the company i share~~~
respects and blessings folx...thanx for sharing~~~

you're welcome ^^
I think that most of us can only guess what we think when we were drawing. an image is never done that's the same way with our lives, who we are is never shaped completely either. That's why people change so much.

It's pretty cool. Takes a while to get used to the hotkeys in Photoshop. I'm so used to Final Cut, I think I'll always have a problem learning new interfaces... Other than that it's cool. Would like to try CS3 but $ is always an issue in the case of the starving artist lol...

alot of my friends can sympathize. I don't seem to have that issue cause I just use paper and a pencil :3 for now that is...
what're hotkeys?

hotkeys are shortcuts on the keyboard. Instead of clicking a clone-stamp button i can hit "s", or in windows win+r is run, ctrl+alt+del is task-manager, alt+f4 is shutdown etc... Graphic-user-interfaces are easier to use (aka clicking buttons) but hotkeys are more efficient.
I think traditional mediums are the way to go for artistic expression, even though digitalized pictures are cool, there's just something about having a piece of art that you can hold, or staple to a wall...

awesome :3 hotkeys sound useful ^^ I'll have to try it out once I get my own comp ^^
and I agree with the traditional art comment. I think that art that you can draw, can not only be fixed easier, and not trashed just as fast. :3 I also find it funner to draw it with a pencil and paper ^^ its almost like every drawing has its own spirit attached to it ^^ I enjoy drawing on normal paper than trying to draw on the computer. but then again, I haven't tried drawing anything on the computer yet ^^ All my drawings are mostly all drawn and.. yeah, drawn ^^ my friend quickly colors them, and for that I am very grateful ^^

Trying to draw with a mouse while using your oppositely gifted hand is kind of a strange experience. At first I couldn't even draw a straight line, but after a few weeks I started to get the hang of it. Most of my digital drawing attempts look like vomit on paper, but even that is lightyears ahead of what I was doing even a month ago...
Nothing in life is hard, it just takes patience and practice to make it easy.

wow, sounds like anything hard that we all try ^^
so far I haven't ran into anything that I"ve done perfectly the first time so, I think its normal, but your doing a great job with sticking with it :3 I've been trying to get better at go, and I FINALLY reached 9k *round o' applause!* lol, schools been fun too. glad its finally over, I might actually be able to get on much more than I have been ^^ I bet you anything in another month you'll be able to make masterpieces with your oppositely gifted hand that you've been working on :3 and then I'll probably have to try doing the same thing with my art sometime ^^
