Dunno. I guess because of the character the picture is based on.
In terms of my feelings towards "Corpse Bride" I am somewhere between "like a lot" and "love". Not really my thing, but I liked it nevertheless.
But Emily...am I the only one who found her being kind of a tragic character? And by "tragic" I mean "Poor Emily! Why did things turn out this awful for her?".
I think a lot of that sad emotions of mine got shared on Raramily as well.

Oh, you're right. Emily died because she was betrayed by his own fiancée, when you think of it, it's pretty awful :c She waited for years, decades, I dunno, to find someone to marry. But thankfully she was freed thanks to Victor, so this is a happy ending for her
