When I started this picture a month ago, I was sure I'd finally have something to possibly not rant about. But now I am so mad at it I could rip it apart, even after 30 hours. The stupid thing is that most of my frustration has nothing to do with working on it and everything to do with the sheer number of times it has been randomly insulted as I tried to muddle my way through it.So while it might not be as good as it could be, it is done now. I do not want to hear another comment about Narcissus or gay porn or whatever odd tangent idiot passer-bys feel the need to impart. Lance is still not friggin' Michael Jackson, either. Ever.
The general idea behind it was 'sirens'.

I am in agreement with people on how in the world did they could get MJ out of this (the hell! Crack much?). It is a beautiful piece but what really really really got me was how you put motion on the sirens hair and had it snake and spiral on the surface of the water.

I like this concept! It reminds me of so many classics, really, but with a distinct modern twist. My favorite part has to be that you put webbing on her hands. That is just a great detail.
