Not exactly right, but not bad either. Especially considering that I've been having huge problems with Lance lately. As usual, I prefer the original. And I lovelovelove putting pink in Lance's skin. It's a weird fascination, but a fascination just the same. And yellow paper is almost as hard as black paper. Just saying.I know, I know, back to my To Do list!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Lance - *dodges bricks* - yes I know, the butt picture of Lance is awesome and all, but in this - there's something about him that just really says Lance to me. That smile, the happy glint in his eye - I love this. I've already mentioned how much I love your ability to use colors that other people wouldn't normally use in portraits and make it look GREAT - but this is another good example. I would not think that so much gold would work in a portrait and still look completely natural, but it does. You did an amazing job with it, and though the overall hue of the portrait is gold, it doesn't make me think that it's a portrait done entirely in yellows - if that makes sense. ANd I love how chunky and defined his hair looks

I kept meaning to comment on this. I think you did such an awesome job on his skin. I love the subtle pink. It's kind of shocking to the see the bright yellow of the actual paper on the bottom, but that makes me love the picture even more because that looks like such a hard base color. Such a lovely golden god.

I agree with the sun god assessment. I love the purple touches, the green background and the brown "darks" in his hair.

I really like the delicate shading around his eyes and the shadow of his cheekbone and jaw. And the bit of pink on the inside of the eye. He has the best face, gorgeous eyes and the shine on his lip is perfect. I'm definitely a Lance fangirl ^_^

Lance really is a gorgeous example of the male species. I love the glow that this radiates, the pink was just the right color for his skin tone. The texture is wonderful too. Mmm...such pretty eyes.

mmm...but the yellow paper really adds to that golden glow though. What with his gold colored eyes and blonde hair...he's rather an Adonis isn't he? He looks wonderful. I think the addition of the pink a great one,lends such a nice healthy tinge to his skin. Excellent work.

He's beautiful, plain and simple.
I love his hair, where his hairline begins on his forehead and the way you have it sweeping behind his ear. I love-love his cheeks, the pinkness in them, I really just want to stroke his cheek. And his smile! That really is a smile to fall in love with.

I don't believe I've ever commented before, but this is gorgeous. He looks like some kind of sun god. I love the colors and at first glance I found this to be a really striking piece.
